Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinics are a primary health care delivery model in which Nurse Practitioners are the lead providers of primary health care. Our clinic will provide service to those clients who do not have a primary health care provider or choose to use the clinic for all of his or her primary care. Clients are offered a variety of services through an interprofessional team of Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Collaborating Physicians, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Social Workers and Health Promoters.

Our clinic is focused on improving quality of care by integrating primary care with mental health services, health promotion, case management, disease prevention and chronic disease management.

Position: 1 FTE, Operation Manager The Operation Manager works in collaboration with nurse practitioners, members of interprofessional team members to provide client-centred, quality primary health care services. Youwill work closely with our interprofessional team to support the attachment of patients to our clinic. You will have opportunity to support the development of services as part of our expansion.

Major Job Responsibilities:

· Clinic Operations:

o Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations and activities, assigning work and ensuring flow for office operations, administrative and programs.

o Coordinate day-to-day priorities, and support effective communication across clinical and administrative teams.

o Forecasts, plans, and coordinates effective workflow in functional areas such as reception, appointment bookings, program development and quality improvement processes.

· Community engagement:

o Collaborates and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

o Implement and monitor community programs, partnership, referral partners, and other stakeholders to support patient access initiative.

· Patient Attachment Initiative:

o Coordinate and monitor patient attachment activities, including waitlist management, onboarding, registration, and initiatives to improve access to primary care.

· Project Support:

o Assist with new initiatives, program implementation, clinic expansion, special projects,



and organizational development.

· Board Coordination:

o Coordinate administrative and operational activities related to the Board of Directors, including meeting logistics, agenda preparation, documentation, reports, action-item tracking, and follow-up in collaboration with the Executive Director and Board leadership.

· Accountable for gathering, maintaining, and reporting statistics regarding Ontario Health guideline.

· Maintains and respects confidentiality of patient health records and information

· Collaborates with employees, physicians / managers, and human resources to promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement across all sites

· Creates a safe and supportive working environment for all

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Community Services, Healthcare, or a related field; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- A satisfactory result of Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check is a requirement of this position.
- 1-3 Years of leadership experience in community setting
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Shown capacity to make independent judgements and work without supervision
- Proficiency in English, a second language reflecting local community need (such as Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
- Participate in annual performance review and learning plan.
- Able to work effectively with all members of the inter-professional team
- Able to prioritize, manage time effectively and be flexible in a very active work setting
- Experience with EMR, Telus PSS would be an asset.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Work Conditions:

- 1 FTE,



37.5 hours per week.
- Travel within the community may be required.
- Able to work flexible work hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Work in all NPLC locations when needed.

Compensation : Salaryrange $65,000 - $72,000 Annually
