Northern Health is seeking a cooperative and detail-oriented Clinical Simulation Technician to support simulation-based education and training.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position is responsible for a wide variety of simulation education/training, orientation and staff development activities within the Northern Clinical Simulation Centers.

The Clinical Simulation

Technician maintains and operates the simulation technologies, courseware development and usage, and trains staff and faculty to facilitate simulation scenarios and debrief sessions.

The Clinical Simulation

Technician will do this by fostering effective working relationships with simulation centre stakeholders, facilitators, faculty, physicians and other health professionals. They will be an effective team member with the ability to work independently to problem solve and respond to changing priorities or unforeseen opportunities.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:30 to 16:30
