Duties

- Set up and operate CNC machines such as CNC lathes and CNC milling machines, ensuring accurate production according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models using SolidWorks or other CAD software to program and adjust CNC equipment
- Read and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
- Use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards during production
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of machine setups,



production logs, and quality checks
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift operations when necessary

Experience

- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes or CNC milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings confidently
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes
- Hands-on experience with machining tools like calipers, hand tools, power tools
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
