Join JBWS as a Housing Navigator for our Passaic County Shelter program. Empower clients facing domestic violence by securing secure housing and developing tailored stabilization plans. JBWS is searching for a dedicated Housing Navigator to address the housing needs of clients impacted by intimate partner abuse.

This role requires collaboration with community partners and effective case management to ensure housing stability. Ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of marginalized communities and exhibit compassion in their support. Key Responsibilities:

- Assess housing needs and create stability plans with clients
- Connect families to housing assistance resources
- Foster partnerships with community organizations
- Facilitate flexible funding for housing stability
- Support shelter residents and respond to helpline calls Requirements:
- BA in Social Work or related field
- Minimum five years in housing or social justice
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Utilize your expertise in housing and social support to positively impact the lives of vulnerable clients at JBWS.
