: We are seeking an experienced and versatile Construction and Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must already have substantial professional experience in at least one construction, renovation, maintenance, or related skilled trade. Formal trade certification is an asset, but demonstrated hands-on experience and ability are more important for this position.

The ideal candidate will also be comfortable performing a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to:

- Painting
- Drywall repair, taping, and finishing
- Flooring repairs and finishing
- Carpentry
- Doors, trim, and hardware
- Fixture and accessory installation
- General residential and commercial maintenance

Candidates with high skill levels in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:
- Drywall taping and finishing
- Minor plumbing repair and electrical troubleshooting
- Painting
- Framing
- Finishing carpentry
- Tile installation

Experience with minor plumbing and electrical troubleshooting is an asset, but not required. Most jobs are reviewed and prepared in advance, with available scope details, photos, and material information provided before arrival. Support with repair planning and material sourcing is available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general maintenance, repair, and installation tasks as assigned.
- Assess and troubleshoot repair issues on site.




- Ensure all work is completed to a professional standard.
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Pick up materials and supplies when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Collaborate with team members and management using a mobile project management app.
- Submit clear job photos, notes, receipts, and relevant job information as required.
- Work independently while recognizing when additional support or another qualified trade is required.

Qualifications:

- Substantial professional experience in at least one construction, renovation, maintenance, or related skilled trade.
- Broader hands-on experience with general maintenance and repair work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in English with strong conversational skills.
- Valid driver's licence and acceptable driving record.
- Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile project management applications.
