We are currently looking for a Controller for maternity leave relief, with the potential for permanent position in the company following the maternity leave period.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, and above all, willing to learn. You will have a "can-do" attitude and be ready to wear multiple hats should the need arise. If this describes you and you have the qualifications below, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications

- Bank reconciliations
- GST filing
- Monthly remittances
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Ad hoc reporting
- Payroll
- PBS experience ( a very strong asset)
- Payworks payroll software (an asset)
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

Monthly tasks will include

- Processing both salary/hourly and commission sales payrolls
- Monthly and quarterly remittances
- Processing vehicle deals
- Bill payments
- Floor Plan maintenance
- Month-end reporting to manufacturer and bank
- Schedule reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation
- A/P and A/R supervision and aging account collections
- Health benefits administration




- Human Resources administration
- Year-end reconciliation

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience
- Accounting: 1 year preferred
