Armtec is looking for an experienced Controller to join our Finance team and take a key leadership role in our accounting operations.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Controller is a hands-on leader who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with sound business judgment. You'll have the opportunity to identify better ways of working, implement improvements, and help ensure our financial operations continue to support a growing and evolving organization.

What You'll Do

You'll have broad ownership of the accounting function, including:

- Lead a dedicated accounting team and coordinate day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements and information.
- Drive the budgeting process and support financial planning activities.
- Coordinate year-end and other activities with external auditors.
- Evaluate accounting processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
- Recommend and implement process improvements across the Accounting function.
- Develop and monitor meaningful business and financial performance metrics.
- Provide management with accurate, timely financial information to support informed decision making.
- Oversee regulatory reporting, including applicable tax planning and compliance activities.
- Balance competing priorities and deadlines in a quick-paced business environment.

What You'll Bring

- Progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting,



Finance or a related field.
- A professional accounting designation (CPA).
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Experience working within a multi-entity organization.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with leaders and employees across different areas of the business.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
