Duties

- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from chefs or supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Help with food handling and storage to meet food safety standards and prevent contamination
- Operate basic kitchen equipment




- Contribute to resident services by ensuring timely meal delivery and responding professionally and courteously
- Support overall kitchen operations including stock replenishment, cleaning schedules, and adhering to health regulations

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and interact positively with residents
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking processes
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
