Summary

We are looking for a Corporate Compliance & Operations Specialist to support our portfolio of companies. This role will focus primarily on implementation, compliance, and day-to-day operations, working closely with CEOs and senior leadership across the group.

The successful candidate will help ensure that corporate and regulatory requirements are properly managed, processes are implemented and maintained, and key operational matters are followed through to completion. The role will also provide support with corporate records, contracts, reporting, and other administrative requirements as needed.

Legal and governance matters that require specialized legal advice will be supported by external counsel, with this role helping to coordinate and implement those requirements internally.

This is a dynamic role suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

Your role will include

Compliance & Implementation

- Supporting the implementation and ongoing management of corporate and regulatory compliance requirements
- Maintaining compliance calendars, deadlines, filings, and other regulatory requirements
- Tracking compliance obligations and following up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are completed on time
- Supporting the implementation of new policies, procedures, and compliance processes




- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance records and documentation
- Assisting with audits, reviews, regulatory requests, and other compliance-related matters
- Identifying gaps or issues in existing processes and helping develop practical solutions
- Coordinating with external legal and professional advisors when required

Corporate Operations

- Maintaining corporate records and ensuring documents are organized and up to date
- Coordinating the preparation and execution of corporate documents
- Supporting contract administration, including maintaining files, tracking deadlines, and following up on outstanding items
- Coordinating the completion and execution of documents with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting corporate transactions and other projects as required
- Maintaining corporate calendars, trackers, and other operational tools
- Preparing reports, summaries, and other materials for senior leadership
- Following up on action items and ensuring key deadlines and deliverables are met

Governance & Legal Support

- Supporting the coordination of Board and committee meetings
- Preparing meeting agendas and materials
- Taking meeting minutes and tracking follow-up items
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of corporate resolutions and other governance documents
- Coordinating with external legal counsel on matters requiring specialized legal advice
- Supporting the implementation of legal and governance requirements within the business

Other





- Providing general operational support to the CEO and senior leadership
- Managing and coordinating priorities across multiple projects
- Other duties and projects as required

Required Skills or Experience

- Post-secondary education in business, legal studies, compliance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in corporate operations, compliance, legal administration, financial services, or a related field
- Experience working in a regulated environment is an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to work independently while also working closely with senior leadership
- Proactive approach to identifying issues and getting things completed
- Professional and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment

Salary and Benefits

- $70,000–$85,000 base salary, with potential bonus based on individual performance
- Extended health benefits plan

Position Type

- Nature: Permanent, Full-time, and hybrid
- Time Commitment: 37.5 hours per week, with occasional overtime required
- Work Location: Toronto, ON
- Start Date: Immediate
