Couples Counsellor — Port Alberni

Island Clinical Counselling is looking for a couples counsellor to join our Port Alberni team.

We’re seeking a clinician who can help partners navigate conflict, strengthen communication, and reconnect with one another. You’ll provide in-person counselling to couples with a range of relationships, identities, and goals.

Our practice serves clients across Vancouver Island. We value accessible care, clinical collaboration, and a welcoming experience for every client.

You may be a excellent fit if you:

- Have experience providing couples counselling
- Can support partners through difficult conversations with care and balance
- Bring a trauma-informed and 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming approach
- Hold an RCC, CCC, RSW, or comparable clinical designation,



or are eligible for registration

Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, or another established couples therapy approach would be an asset. This is an independent contractor position based in Port Alberni, BC.
