Position Purpose As the Credit Supervisor, you will play an integral part in supporting our business today and planning our business for tomorrow. You will be responsible for managing a diverse customer portfolio, leading the credit and collections team, and engaging directly with customers on their accounts. A successful candidate will be able to further develop the integrity of our credit systems, investigate all credit situations, and build lasting relationships with our customers.

Primary Responsibilities

- Investigating and verifying the financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit, preparing documents to substantiate findings, and providing recommendations.
- Managing customer accounts and establishing credit limitations.
- Investigating possible cases of fraud within accounts and taking proper steps as needed.




- Reviewing collection reports and evaluating effectiveness of current policies and procedures.
- Communicating with customers on account status and addressing any account concerns.
- Monitoring department performance metrics and finding opportunities to develop further.
- Collaborating with outside agencies for collections from delinquent accounts.
- Compiling statistical data on fraudulent use of credit to develop procedures designed to prevent.
- Leading special projects as opportunities develop.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

Minimum Of Five Years Of Credit Management Experience.

Prior experience or ability to learn AS400/SAP software.

Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Strong math skills and ability to communicate.

Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills.
