Customer Service Associate (Budtender)

Position Details

We are hiring for our Quadra location. This is a part‑time permanent position consisting of three evening shifts per week: Sunday night, Monday night, and Friday night.

Applicants must have availability for these specific evenings.

Additional availability to pick up extra shifts for call‑ins, sick‑day coverage, or holiday coverage is considered an asset.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Helping customers find products that best fit their needs
- Learning about cannabis products, accessories, and recent releases
- Staying up to date on strains, formats, and industry trends
- Receiving inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays
- Participating in inventory counts
- Keeping the store clean, organized, and customer‑ready
- Processing sales and handling cash accurately
- Checking ID and ensuring all sales follow BC Cannabis regulations
- Opening and closing the store
- Working with your team to create a welcoming environment

Requirements We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong customer service experience




- Has cash‑handling experience
- Is dependable, takes initiative, and works well independently and with a team
- Has at least one year of retail or customer service experience
- Is comfortable learning new computer systems
- Can lift boxes, stock shelves, climb ladders, and assist with deliveries
- Is comfortable learning and enforcing BC Cannabis regulations
- Is bondable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

Bonus Qualifications

- Inventory experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work at multiple Rise Cannabis locations

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
