Job Title:- Data Modeler – Cloud/Azure

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler to support cloud and data modernization initiatives . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in data modeling, SQL, Azure data platforms, data mapping, and data governance . Banking or financial services experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models .
- Develop source-to-target mappings, data flows, data lineage, and metadata .
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable enterprise data models.
- Work closely with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Technology teams .
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and support complex database structures.
- Work with Azure data services including ADLS, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) .
- Support data integration, transformation, migration, and modernization initiatives.




- Ensure data models comply with data governance, quality, security, and architecture standards .
- Identify data dependencies, relationships, and business rules across enterprise data platforms.
- Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, lineage, and modeling documentation.

Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of experience in Data Modeling or Data Architecture.
- Strong expertise in SQL and database concepts .
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data platforms .
- Experience with ERwin, PowerDesigner, or similar data modeling tools .
- Strong understanding of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling .
- Experience with data mapping, lineage, metadata, and data governance .
- Experience with ADLS, Databricks, Synapse, and ADF .
- Robust communication and collaboration skills.
- Banking / Financial Services experience preferred.
