Role Description The Data Infrastructure and Automation Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and automation frameworks. This role involves building and managing data infrastructure components, integrating data from multiple systems, and ensuring data reliability, security, and performance. The engineer will develop and optimize automation workflows for monitoring, deployment, and process control, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support analytics, reporting, and operational systems.

Daily activities include troubleshooting data and automation issues, refining system architecture, documenting technical solutions,



and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes participation in code reviews, performance tuning, and the adoption of best practices for data governance and infrastructure management.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting and Process Control, with experience diagnosing and resolving issues in complex data and automation environments.
- Knowledge of Automation and Robotics, including designing or supporting automated workflows, orchestration tools, and integration with hardware or software systems.
- Background in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline, with an understanding of control systems, sensors, and industrial or operational technologies.
- Hands-on experience with data infrastructure tools (e.g., ETL frameworks, data warehouses, cloud data platforms) and scripting or programming languages (such as Python, SQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring/logging tools for automated deployments and system reliability.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setup and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in automation projects, data engineering, or industrial control systems is highly beneficial; exposure to cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
