Responsibilities

- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Safely move goods within the warehouse or delivery area, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
- Support drivers with route preparation, including organizing packages and verifying delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or delivery staging areas




- Conduct safety checks on equipment like forklifts before use and report any maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries politely during delivery interactions

Requirements

- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a warehouse or delivery setting
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with customers
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) or willingness to obtain one is a plus
- Ability to move quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
