Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility and accountability, and the ability to navigate effectively. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast paced environment.

Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic automotive maintenance on the delivery vehicle.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of shipments.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.




- Operate forklifts and hand truck dollies as needed for loading and unloading freight.
- Assist in preparing daily delivery orders and perform pick-ups as needed.

Requirements

- Valid driver's license (Class 5); clean driving record is essential.
- Experience in commercial driving is a must.
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and heavy equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
