Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant Level II to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of dental procedures, patient care, and clinic operations. As a Dental Assistant Level II, you will provide essential support to dentists and ensure a smooth, efficient workflow within the practice.

Your expertise in dental assisting, combined with proficiency in dental software and patient communication, will contribute to delivering exceptional oral health care experiences. Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available for procedures.
- Assist dentists during various dental treatments, including orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental management software such as Dentrix and Epic, documenting procedures and treatment plans thoroughly.
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients while addressing questions related to dental procedures or orthodontic care.
- Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist when needed, scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and managing patient flow efficiently.




- Assist with the fabrication of dental prosthetics and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) models for restorative or orthodontic purposes.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and reinforce the importance of regular dental visits for preventive care.

Experience

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role within a busy dental practice.
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Dentrix and Epic for scheduling, billing, and record-keeping purposes.
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics.
- Experience assisting with CAD-based restorations or orthodontic appliances is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, including children in pediatric dentistry settings.
- Certification in dental assisting from an accredited program is required; additional certifications in radiography or expanded functions are preferred.
