Summary
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at Topsmiles Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. In this role, you will support our dental professionals in delivering high-quality care to our pediatric patients while ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to safety protocols.
- Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is an asset.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
