- Monday to Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

- $25-30/hour - commensurate with experience
We are looking for a very personable, outgoing, and experienced candidate to join our specialized children’s dental practice in St. Catharines.
We are:
- A thriving dual specialty practice for Pediatric Dentistry working on children cradle to college age while awake or asleep.
- Located on Fourth Avenue in St. Catharines
REQUIREMENTS:
- Dental Reception experience (a must - Only candidates with dental reception experience will be considered)
- Ability to multitask
- Solid customer service skills
- Knowledge of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) Healthy Smiles of Ontario (HSO) programs
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance: direct billing, predetermination and coverage breakdowns
- Experience in Open Dental software is an asset
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Greeting patients
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Patient intake and profile creation
- Processing patients after their appointments
- Financial treatment planning
- Confirming appointments
- Quoting patients
- Sending insurance claims/predeterminations
- Filing insurance claims
- Maintaining consistent schedule
- Utilization of MaxAssist (formerly RecallMax) patient communication system
- Scanning
- Uploading X-rays into dental software
- Customer service
- Sending, receiving, and replying to emails
- Communication with referring dental and medical offices
- Communication with insurance companies
