About Sal’s Barrhead

Sal’s Barrhead is a locally owned restaurant serving the Barrhead community through dine-in, drive-thru, takeout, and delivery. We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Dessert Maker to join our team and help prepare high-quality desserts while providing fast, friendly service.

Position Overview The Dessert Maker is responsible for preparing and serving desserts consistently and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work area. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working with food, pays attention to presentation, and can stay organized during busy periods.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare desserts according to Sal’s recipes and portion standards
- Prepare and serve ice cream and other dessert items
- Ensure desserts are presented neatly and consistently
- Complete basic ingredient preparation and restocking
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dessert station
- Follow proper food-handling and food-safety procedures




- Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low
- Assist with cleaning, dishes, and other restaurant duties as required
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Communicate and work cooperatively with front-of-house and kitchen staff

Qualifications
- Previous food service or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
- Able to follow recipes and instructions consistently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Food Safety certification is an asset

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, keeps their station clean, and understands that consistency matters. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
