Join the team at Crosstown Craft BBQ as a Dishwasher and help keep our kitchen and restaurant running smoothly during busy service. You’ll be responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, trays, utensils, pots and kitchen equipment, while helping maintain a clean and organized work workplace. You’ll also assist the team by emptying garbage, returning trays and dishes from the dining area, restocking supplies, and helping with general cleaning duties as needed.

This is a hands on, fast paced position that is an important part of keeping our kitchen operating efficiently. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, works well with a team, and takes pride in keeping their work area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

- Wash, sanitize and organize dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized and running efficiently during busy service.
- Collect and return trays, dishes and other items from the dining area.
- Empty garbage and recycling and replace bags as needed.
- Help maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, dining area and other work areas.
- Sweep, mop and perform general cleaning duties as required.
- Restock clean dishes, trays, utensils and other supplies.




- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and support tasks when needed.
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures.
- Work efficiently with the kitchen and front-of-house teams during busy service periods.
- Help keep Crosstown clean, organized and ready for the next customer.

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, dishwasher or cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Comfortable lifting and moving garbage, trays, dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and take direction.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
