Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment by washing, sanitizing, and organizing efficiently.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies to support chefs and cooks.
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet safety standards and health regulations to promote a safe kitchen environment.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by managing dishwashing stations and helping with light food prep as needed.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, including sinks, dish stations, storage areas, and prep zones.
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures to maintain a hygienic workspace.




- Collaborate with team members to uphold hospitality standards and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong understanding of cleaning protocols, food handling safety, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A genuine interest in food service, hospitality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
