Are you organized, comfortable speaking with customers and good at keeping track of details? Banff Scenic Tours is looking for a Dispatcher / Tour Booking Agent to help with customer inquiries, reservations, driver coordination and office reception.

Previous tourism or dispatch experience is not required. We are looking for someone reliable, willing to learn and confident using a computer. You will receive training and work with management as you learn the role.

What you will do

- Handle customer inquiries: Answer phone calls, emails and booking-platform messages, explain tour options and help customers complete their bookings.
- Monitor reservations: Track bookings across channels. Check passenger numbers, dates, pickup locations and guest contact details.
- Assist with dispatch: Prepare passenger lists and daily schedules, communicate approved assignments to drivers and help coordinate guest pickups.
- Keep guests informed: Send booking confirmations and pickup reminders, communicate schedule changes and follow up on missing information.
- Maintain online listings: Update availability, pickup instructions and other tour information using management-approved details.
- Support daily operations: Monitor tour progress during your shift,



assist with routine changes and promptly escalate delays, complaints or other issues.
- Help with reception and office administration: Greet visitors, take messages, organize records, scan documents and assist with routine office tasks.

Who we’re looking for

You should have clear spoken and written English, a qualified telephone manner and strong attention to detail. You must be comfortable using email, spreadsheets and online systems, and able to stay calm when plans change.

Customer service, reception, hospitality, reservations or dispatch experience is an asset—but a positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are essential.

Schedule and training

This is an in-office position in Calgary, starting part-time with scheduled shifts. Weekend availability may be required; working hours will be agreed upon during hiring.

Paid training will cover our tours, booking platforms, customer-service procedures and dispatch processes. Additional responsibilities and hours may become available as business needs grow.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
