Mission

Support the design, development, validation, and engineering release of suspension components and sub-assemblies for Stellantis production vehicle programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design &
- Release: Lead the design, packaging, and engineering release of suspension components (control arms, knuckles, springs, dampers, sway bars).
- Data Management: Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, structured BOMs, and engineering change notices.
- Kinematics &
- Dynamics: Support suspension kinematics and compliance (K&C;) analysis and vehicle integration activities.
- Quality Documentation: Author and maintain DFMEAs and DVP&Rs; for assigned components.
- Testing &
- Validation: Coordinate bench-level structural testing, component durability, and vehicle-level energetic validation.
- Supplier &
- Program Support: Partner with Tier-1 suppliers and internal engineering teams during prototype builds, plant launches, and continuous improvement initiatives for mass, cost, quality, and warranty.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of automotive suspension,



chassis, or design-release engineering experience.
- Software: Proficient in Siemens NX or CATIA V5, combined with Teamcenter (or equivalent PLM).
- Engineering Tools: Practical knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R;, structural testing, GD&T;, and supplier management.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and technical communication capabilities.
