We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Drywall Estimator to join our growing construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, preparing comprehensive bids, and collaborating closely with clients and project managers to ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities

- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of work and material requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installation projects using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to negotiate pricing and secure competitive bids
- Develop accurate project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to support project management efforts
- Analyze labor, material, equipment costs, and other factors to ensure profitable bidding




- Assist in reviewing change orders and project adjustments to maintain budget integrity
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation for future reference

Skills

- Proficiency with Bluebeam software for markup and document management
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors
- Solid understanding of construction estimating processes within commercial or heavy civil projects
- Experience with project management principles to coordinate estimating tasks effectively
- Familiarity with HeavyBid or similar estimating platforms for accurate bid development
- Construction experience that provides insight into drywall installation procedures and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills to clearly present estimates and collaborate with team members
