Become a Drone Survey Technician at Magris Talc, supporting survey operations at Penhorwood Mine. Work with aerial technology and contribute to precision data collection. This role reports to the Mine Engineer and is focused on high-quality survey work and data management.
Responsibilities include conducting GPS and Total Station surveys, planning drone flights, and processing relevant data. Your proactive nature and ability to work under pressure will drive operational accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct survey layout and data collection for mine operations
- Execute GPS and Total Station survey tasks
- Plan and perform aerial drone surveys
- Process survey data and assist in reporting
- Verify equipment calibration and manage settlement surveys Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma in mining engineering or related field
- Proficiency with survey technologies including drones
- Familiarity with open-pit mining environments
- Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
- Valid G driver’s licence Support mine operations through your surveying skills and a commitment to safety.
