Shift: Rotating Continental (2 weeks of days 7am-7pm/2 weeks of nights 7pm-7am)

- Week 1: 2 shifts on (Mon & Tues), 2 shifts off (Wed & Thurs), 3 shifts on (Fri-Sun) = 48 hour week
- Week 2: 2 shifts off (Mon & Tues), 2 shifts on (Wed & Thurs), 3 shifts off (Fri-Sun) = 36 hour week

Base rate $42/hour + $4.00/hr (night premium) + $4.00/hr (weekend premium) + $5000 retention bonus after 1 year.

Role overview

We are looking for a versatile and motivated Dual Ticket Tradesperson who holds both Electrician and Millwright certifications to join our maintenance team. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for electrical and mechanical repairs, installations, and troubleshooting across a variety of industrial settings. Your hands-on skills will keep operations running smoothly, ensuring equipment is safe, efficient, and up to date.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on diverse challenges in a dynamic environment.

What you’ll be doing

Electrician Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot and maintain equipment in a food processing plant

· PLC experience including programming, troubleshooting

· Provide technical expertise in all areas of maintenance and engineering with a focus on electrical and controls systems including PLC programming

· Support maintenance activities for all production equipment and facilities in a cost-effective manner to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and life of the equipment

· Identification of packaging and maintenance opportunities, both operational and equipment based to improve safety, quality, and cost performance

· Maintains electrical documentation and current controls programming off plant equipment.

· Perform duties and assignments as required by the senior management team





· Small electrical installations for modifications

Millwright Responsibilities

· Responsible for working in a safe and effective manner in compliance with all applicable Federal, Provincial, local, company and facility health and safety, fire, environmental, quality and general ordinances/policies.

· Responsible for informing the appropriate supervisory or quality staff of any product that they believe will not meet customer/company specification.

· Supports company objectives of improving facility safety, product quality & manufacturing productivity while reducing costs.

· Identifies opportunities to improve the operation and maintenance of various equipment and production systems and informs management.

· Troubleshoot production and quality issues in conjunction with operating personnel.

· Maintains various types of plant equipment by performing predictive maintenance work, preventative maintenance work, troubleshooting and machine repairs in a timely manner.

· Completes all required documentation including work orders, parts sign-outs, requisitions and quality sign-off sheets.

· Perform repairs, taking responsibility and ownership of the repair to see the job to completion within time demands

· Perform welding and machining tasks as required or assigned.

· Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems

· Troubleshoot motor control systems and perform minor electrical repairs

· Ensure compliance with Positive Manufacturing Practices.

· All other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or management that may be required to ensure the continued success of the company.

What we’re looking for





· 442A licensed electrician + 433A licensed millwright (open to dual ticket holders with slightly different licenses if deemed relevant)

· 2+ years related maintenance experience in an industrial environment

· 2+ years experience with PLC programming & networking

· Experience with processing or high-speed packaging on a continuous production line would be an asset.

· Food or beverage or consumer packaged goods experience preferred

· Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups across all boundaries

· Solid command of safety and regulatory compliance requirements

· Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, often with demanding time constraints

· Strong sense of urgency and accountability
