Join the Research, Analysis and Evaluation Branch and contribute your senior-level health economics expertise to advance evidence-informed decision-making across Ontario's health care system. You will conduct and lead complex economic analyses, research, and evaluations to support strategic policy development, health system planning, and initiatives addressing key health challenges facing Ontarians.

Knowledge of Health Economics and the Ontario Health Care System

- expertise in theories, concepts, methods and measures in health economics
- expertise in the development of complex health economic models
- expertise in acquiring, assessing, adapting and applying health economic research evidence
- demonstrated knowledge of the health care system
- ability to recognize interdependencies in health care organizations and their impact on the system

Research and Analytical Skills

- research, utilize and interpret data and information from a variety of sources
- understand and present policy issues in different ways using analytical skills




- evaluate and apply health economics research for strategy and policy development
- demonstrate project leadership skills; use strategic thinking skills

Communication and Relationship Management Skills

- use communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
- influence the actions of others and lead colleagues on health economics projects
- build partnerships and work effectively with stakeholders and in a team setting
- provide advice in the field of health economics through reports, training materials and briefing papers

Computer Skills

- use computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, to prepare documents
- conduct research using the Internet and database applications
