As an Educational Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and school staff to support student learning, encourage independence, and assist with daily classroom activities.
What You’ll Do
- Support students with classroom activities and learning tasks
- Assist teachers with daily educational activities and lesson support
- Provide guidance and encouragement to students during learning activities
- Help students develop social, communication, and organizational skills
- Support students with individual learning needs
- Assist with classroom preparation and maintaining an organized environment
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers
- Encourage positive behaviour and student engagement
- Support safe transitions and daily routines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families when required
