Position Summary

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical team in a fast-paced HVAC manufacturing environment. This role will oversee electricians and apprentices while supporting electrical installation, panel assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and testing. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical and HVAC experience, leadership skills, and a focus on safety, quality, and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise, train, and lead up to 20 electricians and electrical apprentices




- Oversee electrical installation, wiring, panel assembly, and troubleshooting of industrial HVAC units
- Perform voltage/load testing, fault isolation, and equipment inspections
- Review and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and HVAC control diagrams
- Ensure production deadlines, shipping schedules, and quality standards are met
- Approve time-off requests, manage schedules, and provide job progress updates
- Enforce health and safety compliance and participate in toolbox/safety meetings
- Order electrical parts, supplies, and consumables for the department
- Support site visits and customer projects when required

Qualifications

- Journeyman Electrician certification (required)
- 15+ years electrical trade experience (industrial/commercial)
- 5+ years in HVAC systems and electrical controls
- 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Strong background in troubleshooting, quality control, and conflict resolution
- Experience with industrial automation and building systems is an asset.
