We design, manufacture, and install all kinds of material handling and automation equipment in manufacturing facilities throughout the GTA and South-Central Ontario.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor holding a valid Ontario 309A Electrical License to lead field installations and trade operations. In this role, you will direct electrical crews on-site at our customers’ manufacturing facilities, ensuring high-quality, safe, and productive installation, removal, and servicing of conveying and automation equipment.

Note: This is an industrial equipment installation and site leadership role with an equipment manufacturer/contractor, not a plant maintenance or residential/commercial position.

Key Responsibilities

- On-Site Leadership: Supervise and direct electrical crews, apprentices, and subcontractors on customer job sites, ensuring work aligns with project schedules and customer requirements.
- Technical Oversight: Lead the installation of rigid conduit, motor control centers (MCCs), industrial control panels, and power distribution for new machinery and automation lines.
- Blueprint & Systems Interpretation: Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, single-line ladder logic diagrams, and machinery layout prints to guide site installation.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company standard operating procedures, and the Ontario Electrical Code.
- Project Coordination & Efficiency: Coordinate daily site tasks, monitor crew productivity, troubleshoot complex field issues,



and identify ways to complete installations more efficiently.
- Customer & Internal Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact on-site for customer representatives, project managers, and internal engineering teams.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect completed electrical work to ensure superior craftsmanship, operational integrity, and full compliance before client sign-off.
- Administrative & Policy Adherence: Uphold and enforce company health and safety, human resources, timekeeping, and expense reporting policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Certification: Valid Ontario 309A (Construction & Maintenance Electrician) Certificate of Qualification / Red Seal required.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on industrial electrical experience, with a proven track record in a supervisory, team lead, or site foreman capacity.
- Industry Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and extensive hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise with industrial machinery, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and material handling/conveying systems.
- Leadership & Problem-Solving: Strong team management, conflict resolution, and site decision-making abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with clients, crew members, and internal management.
- Logistics & Tools:



Must possess standard trade hand tools and have reliable transportation to travel to job sites throughout the GTA and South-Central Ontario.

Please note, this position is currently based out of our head office at 21 State Crown Boulevard, Scarborough ON M1V 4B1. However, we will be relocating to a new facility in Newmarket, ON in Fall 2026.
