We are looking for a hands-on Working Electrician Leader to guide our electrical maintenance team and ensure maximum uptime for our manufacturing and stamping equipment. As a leader, you will split your time between electrical troubleshooting, project execution, and guiding team members.

The ideal candidate will have technical proficiency with strong leadership qualities, administrative skills, and a commitment to maitaining a protected work environment under the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC).

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

- Must hold a valid 442A or 309A license in good standing. An Ontario Master Electrician License is considered a strong asset.
- A strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety code.
- Working alongside other trades and outside contractors.
- Scheduling outside contractors.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, and motor control centres (MCC's).
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, P&ID;'s, and CAD Drawings.
- Perform physical electrical installations, including bending, cutting and threading conduit.
- Maintain and troubleshoot large-scale mechanical and hydraulic presses.




- Ensure safety integrity of light curtains, safety interlocks, and clutch/brake systems.
- Lead, mentor, and direct junior electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to delegate tasks effectively while working hands-on.
- Strong computer skills with experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Handle parts and material ordering, managing inventory levels for critical electrical components, spare parts, and shop electrical supplies.
- Able to work weekends and overtime
