Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Epic Beacon Analyst to support the configuration, implementation, optimization, testing, and ongoing production support of the Epic Beacon application. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with oncology workflows, chemotherapy treatment plans, medication management, infusion workflows, and integration with other Epic applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and translate clinical and business requirements into Epic Beacon solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Beacon functionality.
- Support oncology workflows, including chemotherapy treatment plans, protocols, regimens, and medication orders.
- Work closely with oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, infusion center staff, and IT teams.
- Configure and support chemotherapy ordering, administration, documentation, and monitoring workflows.
- Support oncology scheduling, treatment plan modifications, and supportive medication workflows.
- Troubleshoot Beacon application issues and provide production support.
- Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, optimization, and new functionality deployments.
- Develop and execute test scripts for unit, integrated, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Support interfaces and integrations between Beacon and other Epic applications.
- Document workflows, configuration changes, requirements, testing results, and technical procedures.
- Participate in release management and change management activities.
- Assist with end-user training, application support, and knowledge transfer.
- Identify opportunities to improve oncology workflows and application efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical applications, or healthcare systems.
- Hands-on experience supporting Epic Beacon.
- Solid understanding of oncology and cancer-care workflows.
- Experience with chemotherapy treatment plans, protocols, regimens, and medication orders.
- Experience with Epic configuration, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, enhancements, and production support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clinical, pharmacy, business, and technical stakeholders.
- Current Epic Beacon certification is required if mandated by the client/project.
