Masonry Estimator

Limen is a full-service construction firm specializing in masonry, heritage restoration, access, civil, concrete finishing, concrete formwork, restoration, shotcrete, stone cladding, and stone paving. Limen has over 30 years of experience serving the industrial, commercial and institutional sectors of the construction industry Canada wide with offices in Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver.

Position Details:

This position will be based out of our Maple Ridge location.

Qualifications and Education:

· Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Construction Estimating

· Basic knowledge of construction – in general

· Ability to read blueprints, plans and specifications

· Basic understanding of CCDC-2 Contracts

· Intermediate skills in working with Project Documents such as drawings and specifications;

· High level of skills in working with MS Office application (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and Project)



and with takeoff programs (in particular On Screen Takeoff)

· Very organized and disciplined (understand and follow the organizational etiquettes and procedures);

· Team driven, highly effective, multi-tasking and deliverable oriented (take responsibility and ownership for the assigned duties);

· Drive own vehicle and able to attend site meetings and visits in occasional basis (mandatory HSP trainings will provided if required);

· Must be able to commute daily to Maple Ridge;

· Professional, motivated to learn and a career-minded individual

· Quantity Surveyor Education is an asset

· College diploma or post-graduate certificate in industry relevant program is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
