AutoMind is looking for an experienced and motivated Collision Repair Estimator to join our Vancouver location.

We are a Porsche, BMW, Lexus, and Toyota Certified Collision Repair Shop, committed to performing quality repairs using OEM parts, OEM repair procedures, and manufacturer standards.

Our Vancouver team works on a wide range of vehicles, from everyday vehicles to premium and luxury brands, providing an excellent chance for an experienced estimator to expand their knowledge and work in a professional collision repair workplace.

The Role

As a Collision Repair Estimator, you will assess vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, communicate with customers and insurance representatives, and work closely with our production and parts teams to ensure a smooth repair process.

Responsibilities

- Inspect damaged vehicles and accurately assess collision damage
- Prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software
- Take and document damage photos and maintain accurate repair documentation
- Communicate with ICBC, insurance companies, adjusters, and customers
- Prepare supplements when additional damage is discovered during the repair process
- Review repair plans with technicians and production staff
- Identify required parts, labour, materials, and repair procedures
- Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer repair requirements
- Communicate repair timelines and expectations clearly to customers




- Coordinate with the parts department to help ensure parts are available when required
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the repair process
- Help resolve repair-related questions and concerns professionally
- Ensure estimates and repair documentation are accurate and complete
- Provide a high level of customer service from initial estimate through vehicle delivery

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Collision Repair Estimator preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive collision repair processes
- ICBC estimating and claims experience is a strong asset**
- Experience with Mitchell, Audatex, CCC, or similar estimating systems
- Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and parts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collision repair environment
- Strong computer skills
- Valid BC driver's licence
