- Weekends: Approximately 4 hours on scheduled weekends

We are currently looking for an experienced Detail Cleaner & Quality Control Inspector who has a strong eye for detail and can recognize the difference between a space that has simply been cleaned and one that has been cleaned properly and completely.

About the Position

This is a hands-on position combining detailed building cleaning, apartment cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and quality-control inspections.

The successful candidate will perform detailed cleaning assignments while also inspecting completed work, identifying missed areas or deficiencies, and helping ensure properties meet Klenzal's cleaning standards before they are considered complete.

This is not solely an inspection or supervisory position. You will be actively cleaning as part of your regular duties.

The ideal candidate is experienced, observant, organized, physically capable, dependable, and takes genuine pride in producing high-quality work.

Key ResponsibilitiesDetailed Cleaning & Apartment Turnovers

- Perform detailed apartment and residential cleaning
- Complete move-in and move-out/turnover cleaning
- Deep-clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other assigned spaces
- Clean appliances, cabinets, fixtures, baseboards, doors, trim, windows, and other detailed areas as required
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize, and remove buildup from assigned surfaces
- Identify areas requiring additional attention rather than simply completing a checklist
- Correct cleaning deficiencies when found

Building Cleaning
- Perform detailed cleaning of residential building common areas
- Clean lobbies, entrances, hallways, elevators, stairwells, amenity spaces, and other common areas
- Detail doors, glass, baseboards, corners,



ledges, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces
- Monitor overall building presentation and identify areas requiring additional cleaning
- Maintain cleaning closets, equipment, and supplies according to site requirements

Cleaning Inspections & Quality Control
- Inspect completed apartment, turnover, and building cleaning
- Follow Klenzal inspection checklists and quality standards
- Identify missed areas, incomplete work, streaks, buildup, debris, or other cleaning deficiencies
- Correct cleaning deficiencies when appropriate
- Clearly communicate items requiring follow-up
- Take photos or document completed work and deficiencies when required
- Ensure assigned spaces meet company and customer expectations before being signed off as complete
- Report maintenance concerns, property damage, safety hazards, or unusual conditions
- Provide professional and constructive feedback when cleaning work does not meet required standards

- Has previous professional residential, apartment, hotel, commercial, or building-cleaning experience
- Has excellent attention to detail and notices things others may miss
- Understands professional deep-cleaning and move-in/move-out standards
- Can inspect another cleaner's work objectively and thoroughly
- Is comfortable identifying and correcting cleaning deficiencies
- Can follow detailed cleaning and inspection checklists
- Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Is reliable, punctual, organized, and accountable
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Communicates professionally and respectfully
- Is physically capable of performing demanding cleaning work throughout the day
- Can bend, reach, kneel, lift, carry, vacuum, mop, and remain active for extended periods

Availability Requirements

Applicants must be available

- Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM




- For approximately 4 hours on scheduled weekends
- Weekend work will be scheduled based on operational needs, and some weekends will be off

Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of professional cleaning experience preferred
- Apartment turnover, deep-cleaning, building-cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or quality-control experience strongly preferred
- Clear criminal background check or willingness to obtain one
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to follow company health and safety procedures
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
