We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Calgary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and being out in the field solving problems for customers.

Who You Are:

We are looking for a seasoned troubleshooter who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team with extensive experience in air or gas compression or a related field is a must.

About the Role:

- Perform installations of air equipment and piping
- Perform start ups on new compressors
- Perform service, troubleshoot, rebuild and preventative maintenance on a variety of compressed air equipment and related components.
- On-call Schedule (1 week interval)

Key Responsibilities

- Install air compressors, compressed air equipment, piping, and related components.
- Perform start-ups and commissioning of new compressor installations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with compressed air equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, service, repairs, and rebuilds on a variety of compressed air systems and components.
- Respond to customer service calls and provide professional, timely technical support.
- Work independently in the field while maintaining strong communication with the branch and service team.
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company and customer standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, approximately one week at a time.




- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and represent CAE professionally in the field.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have:

- Extensive experience working with air or gas compression equipment, or a closely related industry.
- Hands-on experience with rotary screw and reciprocating air compressor technologies.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- The ability to assess problems, determine appropriate solutions, and make sound decisions in the field.
- A strong understanding of preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and service practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple service requirements and priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
- The ability to learn new products, technologies, and technical processes quickly.

Millwrights and Industrial Mechanics are preferred, although candidates with other relevant trades, technical backgrounds, and industry experience will be considered.
