Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

- Manage the Accounting and Procurement departments;
- Manage and ensure the integrity of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and intercompany transactions;
- Ensure the effective execution of the budgeting process and advise managers on the methodology used to generate results;
- Manage government reports, remittances, and audits, and act as a liaison with government authorities;
- Evaluate and implement improvements to accounting practices and internal control policies;
- Prepare year-end audit documentation and coordinate the tax process and related activities with external professional service providers;




- Lead cost accounting activities to establish standard costs and provide information that influences pricing strategies;
- Identify and evaluate cost optimization strategies to assist managers in reducing costs;
- Support managers in developing compelling business plans that support our growth;
- Assist with the financial evaluation of various business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures;
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or as required.

Profile Sought of the Financial Controller

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent;
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a service-based company.
