Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will bring craftsmanship and precision to interior and exterior finishing projects, transforming raw structures into polished, functional spaces. Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finishing tasks
- Install cabinetry, drywall, siding, flooring, tile, and other interior or exterior finishes with precision and care
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as needed for project completion
- Apply construction painting techniques including priming, sealing, and finishing coats to achieve smooth surfaces
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for assembly, caulking, sanding, and finishing work
- Conduct restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures with attention to detail
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks when required to ensure comprehensive project execution




- Follow safety protocols diligently while performing heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces

Requirements

- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields with a focus on finishing work
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently
- Knowledge of drywall installation, flooring installation (including tile laying), siding, and roofing techniques
- Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, and general heavy lifting procedures
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, sanders) safely and efficiently
- Experience with construction estimating processes and understanding project timelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Valid construction experience with additional skills such as CNC operation or manufacturing experience considered a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards
