Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for bringing architectural visions to life through precise craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your expertise will ensure that interior and exterior finishes meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute exact finishing work.
- Install cabinetry, countertops, drywall, siding, flooring, tile, and other interior or exterior finishes with accuracy and care.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as needed for project completion.
- Apply construction painting techniques and caulking to ensure seamless surfaces and weatherproofing.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently for various finishing tasks.
- Conduct restoration work by repairing or refurbishing existing structures to restore their original appearance and functionality.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical work, or handyman tasks when required to support project needs.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting, rebar installation, or working at heights on roofing or scaffolding.




- Collaborate with team members to estimate materials needed and ensure timely project progression.

Requirements

- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields with a strong portfolio of finishing projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and specialized construction machinery.
- Knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques for smooth surfaces.
- Experience with flooring installation (hardwood, tile, laminate) and tile laying methods.
- Familiarity with masonry practices including concrete forming and rebar installation.
- Skills in construction painting, caulking, siding installation, roofing repair or replacement.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems for minor repairs or adjustments.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at elevated heights safely.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid construction experience with knowledge of schematics and construction estimating is preferred.
- Handyman experience or general maintenance skills are a plus for versatile project support.
