Description

We are seeking Personal Account Generalist Raters to participate in Gemini Personalization Evals.

In this role, raters will perform generalist evaluation tasks using personalized prompts designed to retrieve context and data across connected Google applications. The role focuses on evaluating model performance, context retrieval, response quality, and personalization accuracy.

Responsibilities

- Evaluate AI-generated responses based on personal Google account data and activity.
- Assess whether responses are relevant, accurate, helpful, and appropriately personalized.
- Identify issues related to incorrect personalization, unsupported assumptions, or irrelevant recommendations.
- Compare multiple AI-generated responses and evaluate the overall user experience.
- Provide clear, detailed, and well-reasoned evaluation feedback.
- Follow project guidelines to ensure consistent, accurate, and high-quality evaluations.
- Evaluate model performance and context retrieval across connected Google applications.
- Maintain data privacy and follow all project confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

- Must be currently based in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.




- Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
- Willing and able to connect Google applications such as Gmail, Google Photos, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc., to Gemini for personalized prompt evaluations.
- Active use of standard Google consumer/workspace applications with sufficient account history and data to support retrieval-based evaluations.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote workplace.
- Desktop or laptop with a reliable internet connection.

Technical & Account Requirements

- Active Google account with sufficient personal data/history to support evaluation prompts.
- Willingness to provide the required Google Drive access and app integration permissions.
- Ability to connect supported Google applications to Gemini as required by the project.
- Must complete all required consent and confidentiality documentation.

Nice to Have

- Previous experience with AI evaluation or data annotation.
- Experience with quality assurance, content moderation, or analytical review.
- Familiarity with AI-generated content evaluation.
- Experience reviewing personalized recommendations or contextual responses.

Availability

- Part-Time – 20 Hours per Week
- Minimum 4 hours per day
- 4 hours PST overlap per day
- Remote engagement for up to 16 weeks
