The Flower Room Lead is responsible for leading cultivation team members through the critical flowering stage, from flip to harvest. Reporting to the Flower Room Supervisor, this role ensures plants receive optimal care, and that defoliation, pruning, and harvest activities are executed to SOPs. This Lead plays an essential role in maintaining product quality, identifying issues proactively, and enforcing compliance across the team.

Reporting to the Flower Room Supervisor and based out of our Cascadia Facility in Hope, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead daily flowering-room activities, including defoliation, staking, pruning, daily checks, and harvest preparation, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to established standards.
- Monitor crop health and development, proactively identifying and escalating concerns related to pests, nutrition, irrigation, plant performance, or environmental conditions.
- Collaborate closely with the broader Cultivation team, providing support across priority activities as needed to maintain workflow and crop quality.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas while ensuring team adherence to SOPs, sanitation protocols, and biosecurity standards.
- Complete scheduled checks of grow rooms and HVAC equipment, reporting deficiencies or abnormalities promptly to support consistent environmental control.
- Support the Flower Room Supervisor with daily planning, task coordination, and labour allocation to maintain smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Train, coach, and guide team members on flowering best practices, harvest preparation, quality expectations, and safe work procedures.




- Ensure accurate documentation, inventory tracking, and traceability throughout the flowering stage in alignment with quality & compliance requirements.
- Collect accurate data for trials, research activities, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in cannabis flowering rooms or a similar horticultural production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with effective team leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Spanish fluency preferred; English proficiency required for reporting, documentation, and compliance-related communication.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate, or willingness and ability to obtain certification as required.
- Comfortable using Excel, Microsoft 365 applications, and seed-to-sale tracking systems.

- Base salary of $50K–$55K, based on experience.
- Annual performance bonus of up to 10%.
- Monthly phone stipend of up to $70.
