Redz Scratch Kitchen is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to take ownership of our front-of-house flow during busy dinner services.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can see the entire restaurant — not just one section or station.

When the dining room gets busy, we need someone who can quickly recognize where support is needed, jump in when necessary, and direct the team accordingly so service stays smooth and our guests feel genuinely taken care of.

One moment you may be supporting the host stand, the next helping clear and reset tables, running food from expo, assisting the bar, checking on a large party or speaking with a guest. The goal is always the same: keep the restaurant flowing and protect the guest experience.

What You’ll Do

- Take an active leadership role during busy dinner services
- Monitor the overall flow of the dining room and identify areas that need support
- Help direct servers, hosts and support staff to keep service running efficiently
- Support the host stand during busy arrival periods and help manage seating and reservations
- Assist with bussing, clearing and resetting tables when needed
- Support expo and food running to keep food moving quickly from the kitchen to our guests
- Assist the bar team during high-volume periods
- Communicate closely with both FOH and BOH throughout service
- Check in with guests and ensure they are receiving the level of hospitality we expect at Redz
- Handle guest concerns confidently, professionally and with positive judgement
- Assist with large-party inquiries, planning and communication
- Help coordinate large-party service and ensure details are executed properly
- Recognize potential service issues before they become problems
- Coach and redirect team members during service when needed
- Help maintain a polished, organized and welcoming dining room

You may be a great fit if you:

- Have strong full-service restaurant experience
- Have previous leadership, supervisory or restaurant management experience
- Are comfortable taking charge of a busy dining room
- Stay calm, organized and solution-focused under pressure
- Are willing to jump in and help rather than simply delegate
- Are confident giving direction and holding a team accountable
- Have excellent guest-relations and problem-solving skills
- Understand the importance of communication between the kitchen, bar, hosts and service team
- Notice the little things that affect a guest’s experience
- Can prioritize quickly when several areas need attention at once
- Lead by example and contribute to a positive, professional team environment

Experience in upscale casual or high-volume full-service restaurants is an asset. The Kind of Person We Want

Evening and weekend availability is required.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
