Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage guest inquiries professionally,



providing excellent guest services to ensure a positive dining experience
- Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively to deliver efficient service

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Solid time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory counts
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in serving and food preparation tasks
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and interacting with guests
- Enthusiastic attitude with a focus on upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
