Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and minimize wait times




- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are consistently met

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service roles within restaurants or the food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for effective order processing and cashiering
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates ability to work efficiently under pressure and contribute to team efforts
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
