We are seeking an energetic and friendly Front Counter Attendant to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Greet customers warmly as they approach the counter, creating a positive first impression
- Take accurate food orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, maintaining high quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and give correct change while managing cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist in food handling duties,
including basic food preparation and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on serving customers effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems,
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
