Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS software
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, counters, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service and support team members as needed

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong focus on customer service
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for productive order processing and cash handling
- Excellent communication skills to engage with guests professionally and courteously
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cashiering, change calculation, and order entry
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
