Recovery Alberta seeks a dedicated therapist in Peace River to support mental health initiatives. This role involves assessment, treatment interventions, and group facilitation for youths and adults.

As part of the Powell Building Mental Health & Addiction program, you'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality services. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, your primary responsibilities include providing assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment plans. Your expertise will guide clients through their psychological and emotional challenges, enhancing community health.

Key Responsibilities:



• Perform individual and family mental health assessments • Conduct crisis consultations and develop treatment plans • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops • Work closely with community partners to coordinate care • Manage walk-in sessions for immediate support

Requirements: • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent • Active registration with relevant regulatory bodies • Background in therapeutic practices and assessments • Familiarity with Indigenous cultures is a plus • Solid organizational skills and autonomy
