Duties

- Assist with harvesting crops using hand tools and farm machinery, ensuring timely and efficient collection.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to support harvesting activities and farm maintenance.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water delivery for crops during the season.
- Perform routine maintenance on farm machinery, irrigation equipment, and hand tools to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Conduct basic math calculations for measuring, weighing, and recording crop yields accurately.
- Lift heavy loads safely during seasonal activities and transport produce to designated storage areas.
- Support general farm maintenance tasks,



including cleaning work areas and inspecting equipment for repairs or adjustments.

Experience

- Prior experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and crop harvesting techniques is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, and irrigation systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during busy harvest periods.
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks that involve heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking.
- A proactive attitude with robust attention to safety protocols and teamwork skills.
