Job Summary

PR Engineering is seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our manufacturing team in Oshawa.

This role supports daily operations in a heavy industrial factory environment where we manufacture and repair large mining and crushing equipment. Employees may be assigned to different areas of the shop based on operational needs, and there may be opportunities to move into a babbitt pouring role if required.

Experience in welding, millwright work, mechanical work, or manufacturing is considered valuable, but these will not be the primary responsibilities of this position.

Responsibilities

- Support general shop and production operations
- Move and handle large industrial parts, materials, and equipment
- Perform shop cleanup and keep work areas organized
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
- Operate basic hand tools and shop equipment safely
- Follow all safety procedures in a heavy manufacturing setting




- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and reliably
- Be willing to work in different areas of the shop as needed

Skills & Qualifications
- Comfortable working around extremely large parts and industrial machinery
- Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Previous factory, manufacturing, construction, or manual labour experience is an asset
- Welding or millwright experience is considered valuable
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is an asset
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Pay: From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 44.0 per week
